Privacy policy

Penzion Ve Stodole policy on the processing of guests' personal data

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (the “GDPR”), we provide the following information on the processing of guests' personal data. This is a translation for information only; the Czech version is legally binding.

Providing personal data for accommodation purposes is a statutory requirement that must be included in the contract; the data subject is obliged to provide personal data under Section 3(4) of the Czech Local Fees Act. If the data are not provided, the data subject cannot be accommodated.

Storage of personal data

Electronic data are protected by software security with password-protected access. Paper documents containing personal data – the guest register – are kept in a lockable space.

Personal data processed

  • Guest identification data – first name, surname, permanent address or address of residence abroad, date of birth, identity document number (ID card, passport), length of stay, purpose of stay.
  • Guest contact details – e-mail address, telephone (these are provided by the guest entirely voluntarily and are necessary to conclude the accommodation contract).

The controller requires and processes these data only for clients who have agreed to book a stay on specific dates. For clients who only enquire about a stay and do not subsequently book, the controller does not require or process personal data and does not keep their contact details.

Sources of personal data: provided with the guest's consent when booking and on arrival.

Purpose of processing

  • For the Foreign Police, under Section 101 of Act No. 326/1999 Coll., on the residence of foreign nationals in the Czech Republic.
  • Under Act No. 565/1990 Coll., on local fees.
  • The controller does not use clients' personal data to send advertising, and personal data are not transferred to other countries.

Retention period

Personal data will be processed for as long as strictly necessary to secure mutual rights and obligations, i.e. at least until the end of the stay, and then for the period during which the controller is obliged or entitled to keep them under the GDPR and other generally binding legislation (the data are kept for 6 years following the year in which they were recorded, in compliance with Act No. 565/1990 Coll., as amended).

The data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: the European Data Protection Board or the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection.

Consent

By using our accommodation services you agree to the collection and use of personal data to the extent described and to the rules set out above.

EET

Under the Czech Act on Registration of Sales, the seller must issue a receipt to the buyer and register the sale with the tax administrator online; in the event of a technical outage, within 48 hours at the latest.
